Julie Dix is a Canadian artist currently living and working in Toronto.

An award winning graduate of the Ontario College of Art & Design, her art is owned in private collections throughout North America and Europe.

"An ongoing theme in my work is fantasy in the form of landscapes and portraits. This stems from my love of early to mid 20th century cartoons and illustrations.

A large part of my work is spontaneous, by often only using my imagination and memory as reference, what evolves is an image that is delicate and sensitive, but also humourous."
